• make sure the appointment you chose is suitable for you

The only other time we’ll share your personal information is when it’s necessary to comply with the law (for example, to help with investigating a criminal offence).

We protect your personal information fiercely

• We take every reasonable action to protect the personal information you give us. For example, we give our staff different levels of access to information, so they can only access your personal information when it’s relevant to their role.

• We use secure cloud services to store most of the personal information we collect. Some of those services are outside New Zealand. These services only store information for us; they don’t use it for their own purposes.

Here are some more details about particular types of information and how we handle privacy. 

Email newsletters

If you share your email address with us and choose to sign up for our newsletters, we'll keep the details on our database and email platform. You can unsubscribe from our newsletters at anytime.

Giving us your information is optional. If you choose not to enter your email address, we'll be unable to send you our newsletters.

Third-party cookies and other technologies

Beehyve uses third-party analytics to collect anonymous user data. We do this to understand how visitors use our website so that we can:

• Improve our website, for example to develop or promote popular pages.

• Give you more relevant information.

We also use third-party cookies and other technologies for marketing and to gather website analytics. Cookies are small text files placed in your browser when you visit websites. 

Remarketing

We use third party cookies – such as Google Analytics cookies – to keep track of the pages you’re interested in and remarket them to you when you leave our site. As a result, you may see ads from BeeHyve when you're online.  

We don’t use Google Analytics to track, collect, or match information in a way that could personally identify you. 

Impression reporting

We use web beacons to estimate the number of users that have viewed and clicked on our advertisements. This means we can check the success of our advertising.  

Demographics and interest reporting

We use cookies and web beacons to get an overview of our visitors broken down by age, gender and interests. As a result, we can provide you with relevant information, services and features and also understand the popularity of our content.

You can opt out of Google Analytics without affecting how you visit our site. Optionally, your browser can delete or block third party cookies.

We link to other websites that we have no control over. A link to another site doesn’t mean we support all the content on that site. We’re not responsible for the content of websites we link to or the privacy practices of those websites.
