Meet Hayley
Hayley is dedicated to helping neurodivergent individuals understand themselves, embrace their strengths, and build fulfilling lives. Rather than needing to “fix” themselves, she believes people with ADHD can thrive with the right support and self-understanding. Drawn to Beehyve’s focus on ADHD and neurodiversity, Hayley feels neurotypical approaches often fall short.
She strives to empower clients to break free from self-blame, shift patterns that may no longer be serving them, and develop practical strategies to flourish. Hayley is particularly interested in supporting clients to recognise, confront, and break patterns of behaviour and relating that they may feel stuck in. She comes from the perspective that every behaviour has a function, and that many of the things we do originally had a purpose—such as procrastination linked to perfectionism, or conflict avoidance shaped by past experiences. By exploring the origins of these patterns, processing them, and building new ones, Hayley helps clients gain more agency and awareness over their own lives.
Hayley is also curious about the connection between neurodiversity and nervous system sensitivity, particularly how mind-body approaches may help reduce chronic pain, burnout, and overwhelm. With a background in sociology and anthropology, she is sensitive to how societal forces and expectations shape people’s lives. She helps clients unpack how social norms have impacted them and reconnect with their own strengths, hopes, and values.
Diagnosed with ADHD as an adult, Hayley understands the challenges of feeling different. Her warm, flexible, and person-centred approach ensures a supportive, nonjudgmental space. Hayley enjoys working with many different kinds of clients, and is particularly passionate about supporting people who struggle with anxiety, people-pleasing, or perfectionistic tendencies—especially when these patterns are getting in the way of the life they want to live. She values creating spaces where clients feel seen and understood, and is committed to offering an affirming environment for LGBTQIA+ individuals as part of her inclusive practice.
If you’re seeking someone who truly understands ADHD and can help you navigate life with more ease and self-acceptance, Hayley would love to work with you.
